Flashback to January 2025 when I put on my snow pants to photograph this handsomest boy, Fred, and his humans in Lake Placid❄️ For this image we were right out on the frozen lake with the village and mountains in the background, along with a team of sled dogs racing around. It was amazing.

What a year it’s been…

Wowza, I did NOT expect the emotional reaction I’m having over this reel! I’ve 100% been ugly-crying a few times, particularly every time Dexter’s photos pop up with that tune playing in the background. My heart can’t take it🥹

And I didn’t want to get all sappy, but I’m going to anyway. I’m also crying grateful, happy tears because this collection of highlights shows me that even though this year has been incredibly difficult I am doing the thing that makes me the happiest I’ve ever been. I am so thankful for this life I have and to everyone who has shared their dogs with me and supported my dreams—thank you❤️

As a true 80’s kid who grew up making mix tapes, I encourage everyone to listen to the words of this song. I dedicate it to all the dogs.

This stunningly gorgeous and obviously talented boy is Casper and he’s looking for his perfect human match!!

He’s about 4yo, house-broken and incredibly sweet with his foster sister, Stella (so, good with dogs😉). He’s a bit of a Nervous Nelly around strangers, but once he feels safe he’s a champion snuggler—just ask his foster mom!

It only took me a few minutes and a handful of treats to snag these cute portraits so imagine how many head tilts he’ll shower you with each day once you give him the love and devotion he deserves❤️
